Nachdem ich das HTC HD2 nun seit einigen Tagen im Gebrauch hab, möchte ich euch die ersten Einblicke natürlich nicht verwehren.
So langsam aber sicher fange ich wirklich an mich daran zu gewöhnen, auch wenn ich nicht damit gerechnet hätte.
Wie ich feststellen muß läßt sich bei Windows Mobile 6.5 mittlerweile einiges selbstständig durch die wachsende Anzahl an Apps ändern.
Natürlich ist es kein Vergleich zu Android, aber schon einmal ein richtiger Schritt in die richtige Richtung wie ich finde.
Und optisch ist das HD2 definitiv ein Leckerbissen

Starbase64 von Handy-Faq hat ein nettes kleines Video erstellt, auf dem er die Möglichkeit aufzeigt das HTC HD2 über das eingebaute Tool als WLAN-Router zu nutzen.

ACHTUNG: Hier gilt es allerdings zu beachten, dass manche Handy-Provider die Nutzung des Tethering untersagen! Hierzu sollte unbedingt der Handy-Vertrag genauestens gelesen werden.

Nachdem ich nun neben dem HTC Magic mit dem OS Android noch das HTC HD2 mit Windows Mobile 6.5 mein eigen nennen kann, interessiert mich natürlich der Vergleich mit anderen Geräten. Vergleichbar ist hier meiner Ansicht nach als einziges Gerät das Apple iPhone 3Gs. Ich will hier nun das HTC HD2 nicht als “iPhone-Killer” darstellen”, denn sowas gibt es nicht. Dieser Beitrag soll lediglich eine Alternative zu Apples Wunderkiste darstellen. Jedes der Geräte hat seine besonderen Eigenheiten, seinen besonderen Flair. Das iPhone ist mit Sicherheit ein Technisch wegweisendes Gerät gewesen, vielmehr aber für viele lediglich ein Prestige-Objekt, ein “must have”

Nachdem ich seit gestern stolzer Besitzer eines HTC HD2 bin, wird das Thema Windows mobile natürlich auch für mich wieder aktuell. Es ist ein schwerer Schritt vom Android zu Windows Mobile, bisher bereue ich ihn aber (noch) nicht. Liegt vielleicht auch daran das es a) ein klasse Gerät ist und b) das HTC Magic mit Android ja erhalten bleibt.
